“I know it’s a cliché and it’s probably off the mark, but I keep thinking of you sitting in a tent at a makeshift table, with an oil lamp burning beside you while the wind blows outside. It’s so much more romantic than reading something on the same machine that you use to download music or research a paper………………………” actually in reality, John was sitting in the fluorescent-lit, government-issued desk inside his wooden barracks………..
Ah huh…girlish thing. You can never imagine how silly and stupid girl could become when it come to romantic. How about you have a bad handwriting, does it lessen it’s romantic? Gosh! We are watching the movie “ you’ve got mail” nowadays, how come people still anticipate the written letter enclosed in a traditional envelope, which was carried by old-fashion surface mail. Maybe , Postcard is fine with me, but when it come to the written letter which just go to far. If I did receive it, I have to doubt whether the sender is insane. I do like this plot appearing in the novel or movie, but in the reality, I just don’t buy it a bit. Maybe I have lost the sense of romantic, but let’s say it I am just too scared to meet some weird guy. |
